Beginning on the Iowa‑Missouri state line at a point approximately 3,600 feet west of the east line of Section 27‑T67N‑R27W; thence east along the Iowa‑Missouri state line through Section 27‑T67N‑R27W to a point approximately 600 feet west of the east line of Section 27‑T67N‑R27W; thence curving in a northeasterly direction to a point approximately 850 feet south of the NE Corner of Section 27‑T67N‑R27W; thence north following substantially the section line of Sections 26, 23, and 14‑T67N‑R27W to the south corporation line of Lamoni, connecting with State Street.

Lamoni:

Beginning on State Street at the south corporation line; thence northerly on State Street to Main Street; thence easterly on Main Street to the east corporation line.

Beginning again on the east corporation line of Lamoni, connecting with Main Street; thence east following substantially the section line of Section 12‑T67N‑R27W and Sections 7 (Interstate 35 Interchange), 8 and 9‑T67N‑R26W to a point approximately 500 feet west of the NE Corner Section 9‑T67N‑R26W; thence in a northeasterly direction through Sections 4, 3, and 2‑T67N‑R26W to the south corporation line of Davis City, connecting with Bridge Street.

Due to the review of our Primary Road System records, US 69 in Decatur County should be deleted from the Primary System and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

US 69 begins at the Iowa‑Missouri State line approximately 24 miles south of Lamoni, Iowa and travels in a northerly, easterly, and northerly direction via Lamoni, Davis City, and Leon, Iowa to the Decatur-Clarke County line approximately 2 miles northwest of Van Wert, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate US 69 and its extensions in Decatur County as follows:
